PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive flow rate measuring apparatus. SOLUTION: A flow rate measuring apparatus for fused salt comprises an orifice plate 1 disposed in a pipe line H, a differential pressure transmitter 3 coupled with a pair of pressure conducting pipes 2, 2 in front and rear of the orifice plate 1 in order to take out the differential pressure in the pipe line H, a purge means 4 for injecting nitrogen gas into each pressure conducting pipe 2, 2, and a heating means 5 for preventing fused salt flowing into each pressure conducting pipe 2, 2 from adhering. Since the fused salt flowing through the pipe line H is isolated by nitrogen gas not to reach the differential pressure transmitter 3 side and it is not subjected to thermal effect, an inexpensive differential pressure transmitter can be employed and manufacturing cost can be reduced.
