PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus, for the detection of the tilt of a disk, in which the tilt of the disk can be detected with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A light beam 2 from a light source 1 is divided into a disk-tilt detecting beam 15 and a reproducing-signal detecting beam 16 by using a beam splitter 3. The disk-tilt detecting beam which is reflected from a disk is guided to a disk-tilt detection part 12. On the basis of the output of the disk-tilt detection part, the tilt of the disk is detected. The light beam is divided into both beams, the movement in the detection part 12 of the disk-tilt detecting beam is analyzed, and the tilt of the disk can be detected. |
