PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stackless both-side continuous copying method for preventing a copied sheet which is fed at first and having the copied rear side from being overlaid on a copying sheet which is fed later at a copying sheet carry-in point on a circulating-carrying path, at a both-side continuous copying cycle for the sheets as many as the allowable number of circulating sheets, when a non-paper jamming occurs in operation of successively feeding the sheets as many as the allowable number of circulating sheets. SOLUTION: When the non-paper jamming occurs, a paper feeding operation is stopped so that a retrial paper feeding operation may not be executed, after finishing transferring an image to the first one side of each copying sheet carried into the circulating-carrying path before the paper feeding operation is stopped, a paper feeding operation for starting the following both-side continuous copying cycle is restarted at a prescribed timing after the last sheet of the copied sheets passes by the aforesaid carry-in point on the circulating-carrying path. |
