<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure, to improve the reliability and to reduce the space and the cost. SOLUTION: A recording cartridge 1 stores a recording medium in a casing 2. A plug 4, which is made of a magnetic body, is provided in the casing 2 in a movable manner so that the plug 4 selectively stops at more than two different positions. A detection coil 6 is disposed in the vicinity of the plug 4 provided on the recording medium cartridge of the mounting section, on which a recording medium cartridge is mounted. The condition detecting device 5 is provided with a means 7 which detects the inductance of the coil 6.</p> |
