<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic detection sensor which is applicable for a portable device, etc., requiring a low consumption power. SOLUTION: A Hall IC 10 detects a magnetic field with a Hall chip 11. A current supplied to the Hall chip 11 from a constant voltage circuit 12 activates a switching element 15 at about 1/500 driven by duty cycle, interrupts it cyclically, and reduces its consumption power. The Hall chip 11 samples the intensity of an applied magnetic field, and an output from the Hall chip 11 is compared with a reference voltage in a comparator circuit 13 and it is synchronized with the driving of the switching element 15, and then it is latched by a latch circuit 17. An output stage 14 introduces a latched output OUT.</p> |
