PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process transfer data by the intervention of a system processor to direct memory transfer without providing specific processor dedicated to data processing. SOLUTION: In a system provided with a CPU 4, an internal data RAM 3 and a DMA control part 15, a DMA is provided with a mode register 520 for receiving a direct memory access command of data requiring arithmetic processing and reporting the arrival of these data at a DMA buffer 511. When their arrival is reported from a mode register 520, the CPU 4 directly reads corresponding data from the DMA buffer 511, performs a prescribed arithmetic processing so as to store them in the internal data RAM 3.
