Hypocholesteremic agents containing tocopherols and phytostanol (phytosterols)

Composition of hypocholesteremic agents containing (a) phytostanol ester and (b) tocopherols. The phytostanol ester is characterised as b-sitostanol ester shown in Formula (I). The tocopherol is shown in Formula (II). The composition could be encapsulated gelatin where it may be administered orally in high doses. Where Formula (I) is composed of: R1 is an aliphatic, linear or branched C2-22alkyl group. Where Formula (II) is composed of: R2, R3 and R4 is independently hydrogen or methyl groups.
