PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the intrusion of foreign matter into an apparatus body by the mischief of a child, etc., by making it possible to put a cassette door, which is simple in structure, may be inexpensively produced and opens and closes a cassette insertion part into a locking state where the door cannot be opened at the time of nonuse of a cassette door. SOLUTION: This locking mechanism is rotatably and pivotally fitted with a rotating body 6 having a projecting piece 4 for locking the door toward one side on the rear surface side of the cassette insertion port 3 of the apparatus body 2 to be openably and closably mounted with the cassette door 1. The rotating body 6 is provided with a locking groove 5 is formed in a direction approximately rectangular to the projecting piece 4 for locking the door. Further, a lever 7 engageable or disengageable with and from the locking groove 5 is disposed.
