PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system where a troublesome procedure such as transmission/reception changeover and re-transmission protocol is not required, a reply is acknowledged with a simple method and highly efficient and reliable communication can be realized. SOLUTION: A master station 1 transmits a transmission signal modulated by a transmission circuit 3 to space from a transmission antenna 4. On the other hand, the transmission signal from the transmission antenna 4 of the master station 1 is received by a reception antenna 6 and a reception circuit 5 of the master station 1, and an A/D converter circuit 7 and a central processing unit 8 monitor its own output level. When receiving the transmission signal from the master station 1 correctly, a slave station 2 generates a reply signal with the same frequency as that of the signal received by a transmission circuit 13 and transmits it from a transmission antenna 12. When the master station 1 receives the reply signal from the slave station 2, since its own output level monitored by the master station 1 is reduced, the master station 1 can confirm the reception or reception of the reply signal from the slave station 2.
