PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer and a measuring instrument preventing the tip of the pointer from deforming or being damaged. SOLUTION: The pointer 30 suitable for a pressure gauge 10A and the like is constituted by interposing a coil spring 33 between a base end 31 serving as the rotation center a pointer tip 32 to connect the base end 31 and the pointer tip 3 together. A pointer stopper 14 is arranged near the base end 31 of the pointer 30 in the pressure gauge 10A to alleviate the shock against the pointer 30.
