PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more highly precisely realize the measurement of fine physical amounts such as a vertical force between a slider and a disk or the abrasion coefficient of a slider. SOLUTION: A contact state between a disk 1 being a recording medium and a slider 2 equipped with a head for operating recording/reproduction to the disk 1 is inspected from the detected output of a vibration detecting element 12. The vibration detecting element 12 is directly mounted on the disk 1 or mounted on a rotation holding mechanism 3 for holding and rotating the disk 1, and a signal fetching means 14 for electrically extracting only the detected output of the vibration detecting element 12 to the outside by separating this from the mechanical rotation of the rotation holding mechanism 3 is connected with the vibration detecting element 12.
