Simulator for loading and aiming training of mortar-type front-loaded barrel weapons

A simulator for front loaded barrel weapons, such as mine or grenade launchers, includes an opening 7 at the bottom end of the launcher tube 3 to allow the shot 8 to drop out. Of course the simulator may be provided with sensors 6, 10, 15 for detecting the aiming of the weapon so that a suitable target strike may be predicted or simulated.
