PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent warpage of a case for housing a ferrite core from, to reliably press the ferrite core down to make it possible to hold the ferrite core and to make it possible to easily fixing the ferrite core on a flat cable and to remove the ferrite core from the flat cable. SOLUTION: A ferrite core housing core 20, which has a first split case part 21 and a second split case part 22 freely openable and closable to the case part 21 and is used for housing a ferrite core 1 for a flat cable, is formed into a structure, wherein more than one of spring parts 27 for pressing the core 1 down are formed on at least either of the case parts 21 and 22 and the fulcrums of the spring parts 27 are positioned on the side surfaces 22b of the split case part or in the vicinities of said side surfaces.
