<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a noncontact information medium which can extend a communication distance to a desired distance by an easy method by providing an IC element and making an IC element communicate with an external device through a booster without contacting. SOLUTION: The noncontact medium 10 has the booster 20 and a noncontact IC module 30 which is electromagnetically coupled with the booster 20 and capable of radio communication, and the booster 20 and noncontact IC module 30 are connected isolatedly. The booster 20 can receive a radio wave W from a reader writer 1 and send it to the noncontact IC module 30, and also can receive a radio wave W from the noncontact module 30 and send it to the reader writer 1. The electromagnetic wave W that the reader writer 1 receives generate an induced current at a coil 22 in the form of variation of magnetic flux. The coil 22 has a specific communication distance of communication with the reader writer 1 and the distance is adjustable, so the specific communication distance can be adjusted when necessary.</p> |
