PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set capable of recognizing an incoming call by an incoming call vibration, even when vibration is transmitted from the surrounding environment. SOLUTION: A patter which is not confusing with surrounding noises or vibration is optionally selected by the user of the portable telephone set in steps S210 and 220 for a function setting processing. Thereby, the incoming vibration of the portable telephone set is distinguished from the vibration from the circumference, even if one is in a running vehicle or in a noisy store so that an incoming call to oneself is surely recognized. Moreover, the demonstration of a selected incoming call sound and an incoming call vibration pattern is executed in S240, so that the user can recognize whether the proper incoming call sound and an incoming vibration pattern are set or not immediately after setting. |
