PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily switch wires as quick as possible. SOLUTION: A feeding nozzle 60 is provided near a wire supply port of this wire switching device. A wire carrying means 110 is formed between the feeding nozzle 60 and a wire selecting unit 20 freely to be reciprocated between them. A wire clamp 110 carries a feeding end of the coated wire W selected by the wire selecting unit 20 to the feeding nozzle 60. Furthermore, the device is provided with a pair of feeding rollers 50 for receiving the carried coated wire from the wire carrying means 110 and for carrying it to a wire working device 1 through the feeding nozzle 60. With this structure, a necessity of connecting a coated wire of a following lot to a coated wire of a real lot is eliminated.
