PURPOSE: A method of search/inspection/copy original text when distributing a company standard is provided so that a user who can not inspect the original text can use by copying by providing the inspection and copy functions of the original text using a function of an automatic environment setting function together with the search using a database. CONSTITUTION: A method of search/inspection/copy original text when distributing a company standard includes several steps. When operating in the initial stage (20), a file for setting environment corresponding to the environment of user is automatically produced (22). Thereafter, a main search screen is outputted and a waiting step for inputting a search key word is processed(24). According to the input the search key word, corresponding original text list stored to a database is outputted (26). If there is a request of inspection of original text from users (28), corresponding word processor is automatically operated, referring the file of setting environment automatically produced (30). If there is a request of copy concerning original text of the searched company standard (32), the file is copied to the directory designated by user (34).
