Indicating changes in the resistance of a living body

A device for indicating changes in the resistance of a living body includes a resistance measuring circuit 20 having external leads. The resistance measuring circuit produces a measured signal corresponding to the resistance measured in respective low and high ranges of variable resistances across a living body. An amplifier circuit 30 amplifies the measured signal to a perceptible level, and an indicator circuit 24 presents the amplified signal in a perceptible form. Sensitivity adjustment circuitry 28 is connected to the amplifier and indicator circuits for automatically increasing the sensitivity of the indicator circuit when a high variable resistance setting in the second range is measured in the resistance measuring circuit.
