摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium with improved dependency on recording linear velocity, recording characteristics for repeated use and shelf life, and having improved reliability and fast recording performance and having high productivity. SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium is produced by successively depositing at least a lower dielectric layer 2, a phase transition recording layer 3, a dielectric layer 4 and a reflection layer 5 on a substrate 1. The lower dielectric layer 2 has a compsn. of a mixture of zinc sulfide and silicon oxide. The upper dielectric layer 4 has a compsn. of a mixture of zinc sulfide and cerium oxide.
