PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp a correct image of the staircase of a house by by arranging staircases of different constitution side by side for the unit which enables experiential learning while a comparison is made as to differences of safety and functionality due to differences in constitution among staircases. SOLUTION: Three staircases 1 to 3 constituting the staircase comparison unit U1 are arranged in the order of the large-slope staircase 1 having the steepest slope, the intermediate-slope staircase 2 having a relatively gentle slope, and the small-slope staircase 3 which has the most gentle slope. Then, handrails 7 to 9 are arranged on the large-slope staircase 1, intermediate-slope staircase 2, and small-slope staircase 3 respectively. Thus, the staircases 1 to 3 of different constitution are arranged, so differences in slope and image among the staircases 1 to 3 can easily be viewed and compared and differences of the easiness of going up and down the stairs, safety, etc., depending upon the differences in slope can easily be grasped by actually going up and down the staircases 1 to 3.
