PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce key input and to improve operability by providing a main control means processing information from an input means, a display means showing information on menu selection to a user, an AV control means controlling AV and a storage means storing connection information on an AV unit. SOLUTION: This controller consists of an input means 1 processing input information from a user, a main control means 2 processing information from the input means 1, a display means 3 showing information on menu selection to a user, an AV control means 5 controlling AV and a storage means 4 storing connection information on the AV unit. The user sets the AV unit which is previously to be connected from plural AV units. For selecting only the connected AV unit, information 3 which is previously preserved in the storage means 4 is read and the AV unit whose connection is set is controlled based on information 4. Thus, key input can be reduced and operability can be improved.
