In an ammunition round consisting of a projectile (1) inserted in one end of a paper case (3) containing wadding (4) and a powder charge (5), with the other end of the case closed by a percussion cap (6), there is a plastic packing film ring (2) between the projectile and case, the cap containing an inflammable membrane of powder and a binding agent to ignite the charge. An Independent claim is also included for the production method of an ammunition round.
