The coil binding end trimmer for books has a pair of pliers (1) with two arms (2,3), one of which has an L-sections jaw (5) and a second jaw (7) with two parallel cheeks (6,6') which fit onto opposing sides of the L-section jaw when the pliers are closed. One face of the L-section jaw has a recess to receive an end of the binder coil wire.
