PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low-cost fuel cell system, with a simple structure, allowing effective supply of electric power from a secondary battery to the fuel cell system at sudden change of an external load. SOLUTION: In this fuel cell system, the relation between a prescribed output voltage V1 into which a converter 3 converts an output voltage V of a fuel cell main body 1 and a secondary battery output voltage V2 is set to V1>V2. When the output voltage V of the fuel cell main body 1 becomes a prescribed voltage V3 or less at sudden change of an external load, output to a charge control part 6 is stopped. When the output value V of the fuel cell main body 1 further reduce to become a prescribed voltage V4 or less, the output to an auxiliary device 2 necessary for driving of the fuel cell system is switched from the output of the converter 3 to the output of a secondary battery 5. Thereby, a simple, low-cost and high-efficiency fuel cell system capable of supplying stable external load output even at sudden change of the external load is realized. |
