PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery controller capable of detecting a charged state or abnormality of a battery regardless of running or stopping time. SOLUTION: An ECU 18 detects a voltage at a first voltage detecting line 14 and a second voltage detecting line 23 and controls open/close of contacts, such as a first charging relay contact 13, a first power feeding relay contact 15, a second charging relay contact 22, and a second power feeding relay contact 24, individually. Then a step, in which the first charging relay contact 13 and the first power feeding relay contact 15 are closed to feed power from a first battery 11 and an alternator 12, and a lack in charging is supplemented while a charged state of a second battery 21 is checked, and a step, in which the second charging relay contact 22 and the second power feeding relay contact 24 are closed to feed power from a second battery 21 and the alternator 12, and a lack in charging is supplemented while a charged state of the first battery 11 is checked, are alternately carried out.
