PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide that a remote machine has the property right to be protect by looking up serial numbers in a data base and displaying a remote point that is using the property right to be protected which is not allowed to use. SOLUTION: A microprocessor 31 of a base 20 runs a base program stored in a storage device 33, a ROM 32, or a RAM 25. The base program implements many functions requiring the data base to store current information and retrieve past information for a specific point or serial number. The base program that the microprocessor 31 runs interacts with a base user 2 through an input device 21 and its output is supplied to a monitor 29. Then the processor 31 runs the base program, which looks up the serial numbers in the data base to display a remote point that is using the property right to be protected which is not allowed to use. |
