PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the rotating speed of a disk to be as high as possible, in order to improve the overall performance of a disk data drive, in a monitoring and adjusting method of a motor current in the disk data drive. SOLUTION: This method includes a step 2 which measures the value of a motor current 3 supplied to a motor to a practical value 4 of a disk-rotating speed, a step 5 comparing the value of the motor current with a nominal value of the motor current in the practical value of the disk-rotating speed, and a step 8 for increasing the disk-rotating speed up to a new practical value of the disk-rotating speed, when the value of the motor current is practically equal to the nominal value of the motor current (7, YES). |
