PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system which can print characters of a font absent on a printer side fast and can manage with small memory consumption. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a host-side control part 12 which obtains a printer font usable on a printer 2 by communicating with the printer 2, substitutes the arbitrary font for at least some of host fonts by contrasting the obtained printer font with host fonts usable on a host computer 1, and making settings on the printer by communicating with the printer. |
