PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a delay in sound generation timing by selecting from high priority information among plural performance information based on a prescribed priority order decision method when plural performance information are stored in a storage means. SOLUTION: A CPU 12 controls a whole electronic instrument 11 such as an MIDI processing, a sound generation control. A receiving buffer and plural FIFO are provided in a RAM 13, and moreover, panel setting information, the various control data in the instrument or the automatic performance data e.g. are stored in the RAM 13. In the MIDI processing, when the data are stored in an FIFO 2 storing the key-on data being the priority data, the key-on data stored in the FIFO 2 are transferred to a data sort area in the RAM 13. Then, the key-on data sorted in priority order are sound generation processed from the high priority data in order. When the data are stored in the FIFO 1 storing the receiving data excepting the key-on data, the answering processing is performed in stored order. |
