PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate asthenopia and the lowering of visual acuity by continuously inducing the sight line of a user in the directions up and down, right and left, and far and near, and adequately varying an image-forming distance, which is an apparent distance of an image, and brightness of the display. SOLUTION: When an audience selects a desired channel by a TV tuner, a video signal is transmitted to a display position control circuit of a binocular display 1. The display position control circuit converts this signal for driving each pixel of an LCD, and makes each LCD for left eye LE and right eye RE display a same video. The sight line of the audience is induced depending on which part of a liquid crystal panel of the LCD to display the video. IF the video display position is successively moved in order of (a)-(b)-(c)-(d)-(a) for both right and left eyes, the sight line of the audience largely turns round clockwise by only normally paying attention to the video, and the eyeballs are naturally stimulated to exercise.
