PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the longtime reliability of cable while restricting the voltage lowering and heat generation by preventing the leakage of the charging current of a cable to an outer semiconductive layer of a cable core. SOLUTION: This cable is formed of a metal laminated tape 6, a semiconductive water absorbing layer 7 provided at a metal tape piece 6b side and a cover layer 8. The metal laminated tape 6 is formed by arranging four pieces, for example, of metal tape pieces 6b in one surface of a semiconductive rubber tape 6a along the longitudinal direction of the semiconductive rubber tape 6a in parallel with each other with the predetermined space (for example, about 10 mm). These metal tape pieces 6b are adhered to the semiconductive rubber tape 6a so as to be electrically continued, and the hydrotaxis preventing tape 5 is thereby formed. |
