PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform conversion without displaying a selected picture for the data format of a conversion destination each time the conversion is indicated by indicating the conversion, while inputting a specific key to an input device and performing data conversion to a previously set data format, and storing the converted data. SOLUTION: When the conversion is indicated by inputting the specific key to the input device 101, a controller 102 performs data conversion, while using a data format previously set in the controller 102 as the data format of a conversion destination and stores the converted data in a storage device 104. Here, the previously set data format is preferably set by an operator and stored in the storage device 104. Then when the conversion is indicated by inputting the specific key to the input device 101, the controller 102 obtains the data format from the storage device 104, uses the format as the data format of the conversion destination to perform the data conversion, so as to store the converted data in the storage device 104.
