PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disable the remote control of a client by inhibiting the application of a power supply to the client or inhibiting the booting at the client. SOLUTION: A client computer system 104 is connected to a server computer system 100 via a network, and the power supply of the system 104 is first cut off. The system 100 transmits a signal to the system 104 to inhibit the system 104 from starting its operation via the network. Thus, the system 104 is inhibited from starting its operation when it receives the said inhibition signal. As a result, the system 100 can remotely inhibit the operation of the system 104.
