INTERVAL MANIPULATION METHOD OF ONE-STRINGED INSTRUMENT BY MANUAL TENSION CHANGE OF STRING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody a one-stringed instrument which manipulates the various intensities of tones by manually changing the tension of a string as another method of an interval control method by the various lengths of the string. SOLUTION: The front plate side of a body of a suitable size is provided with a ponticello 2 of a tall height and a ponticello 3 of a low height. The sting is stopped on the ponticello 3 side and the front end of the string past the slightly deep groove disposed at the peak part of the ponticello 2 is provided with the interval control member 1. The constitute described above is the prototype of this one-stringed instrument. This interval manipulation method is a way of playing to play the central portion of the string with the right hand (fingers or pick) by using the one-stringed instrument of the structure added with other parts at need and determining the various intensities of the tones by manipulating the interval control member 1 with the left hand.
