HEATER FOR AUGER-TYPE ICE MAKING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate installation of a heater on the periphery of an upper end of a freezing cylinder, and to realize uniform heating at upper and lower portions by the heater. SOLUTION: A pressing head portion 3 is fixed in an upper end 1a of a freezing cylinder 1 of an auger-type ice making apparatus such that three portions thereof are screwed in respective three directions by means of lock bolts 4. The upper end of an auger 2 is rotatably supported by a bearing portion 5 of the pressing head portion 3. A belt heater 20 is wound on the periphery of the upper end 1a of the freezing cylinder, and installed on the same by means of the lock bolt 4. The belt heater 20 is formed such that a belt-type silicon material has heating wires molded therein in a manner avoiding overlapping of the wires with each other.
