PRINT SYSTEM, PRINTER, AND PRINT SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a printer to autonomously send a print instruction to a host computer and obtain and print object data to be printed. SOLUTION: When a print job is generated, hosts 27 and 29 store its job data 35 and 37 on their disks and send job location data 31 and 33 showing the location of the job data to a print server 25. The print server 25 temporarily stores the job location data 31 and 33 and sends them to a printer 23 when the printer is in a printable state. The printer 23 once receiving the job location data 31 and 33 inputs and print job data 35 and 37 from hosts 27 and 29 that the data indicate.
