<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly reduce power consumption of an information processor with no deterioration of operability of the processor by providing a non-input detecting constitution to detect that the input information is interrupted to an information input part for a fixed period. SOLUTION: The input information on the key input, etc., given from an information input part are sent to a 1st processing part 4 to decide whether an input interruption state is kept for a fixed time. In this case, the operating clock frequency of the input part is lower than that of a main processing part, a register and an internal RAM part respectively. Then the key input contents are decided at the part 4, and a start instruction is sent to a 2nd processing part 7 via an interruption control part 6 and a start instruction line only when the processing of the part 7 is required. Thus, the part 7 is forcibly started and the information is sent to the part 7. The part 7 performs processing accordant with the input after it's started. Meanwhile, an end signal is sent to the part 4 after the processing of the part 7 is over. Then the part 4 or 6 sends an end instruction to the part 7 via the start instruction line.</p> |
