PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the dispersed photographic solid micrograins free from coarse grains and abrasive materials, such as media, and not causing any defect at the time of applying a film, and to provide a method for effectively manufacturing these dispersed micrograins. SOLUTION: The dispersed photographic solid micrograins are manufactured by continuously introducing a slurry of a waterinsoluble photographic useful compound into the crushing room of a dispersing machine filled with the media, bringing this compound into contact with the media to continuously convert the compound into micrograins, and then after continuously separating the compound from the media by centrifugal power and discharging the compound out of the crushing room. It is preferred that the media have a bulk density of >=4.0 g/cm3, a Vickers hardness of >=10 GPa, a breaking toughness of >=5 MPa.m1/2, and an average grain diameter of <=0.3 mm.
