<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block a horizontal branch pipe socket easily and strongly in a full-water test or the like by inserting a cap body into the horizontal branch pipe socket and winding a fixing band around the body of a fitting through the rear side of the horizontal branch pipe socket. SOLUTION: A cap 1 is provided with a cap body 2 including a tapered cylindrical part whose deep side of a socket diameter become small, and a fixing band 3, which has such a length that the body 14 of a drainage fitting 10 including a transverse branch pipe socket 1 can be wound by one turn. The cap body 2 is inserted into the horizontal branch pipe socket 11 with only one side of the fixing band 3 engaged with the cap body 2 side. The fixing band 3 is wound around the body 14 by one turn, and the other end is inserted into the inserting hole 2d in the cap body 2. The cap body is then pushed into the deep side of the horizontal branch pipe socket 11, and a flange 2c is brought into contact with the end surface of the horizontal branch pipe socket 11. The fixing band 3 is fastened around the body 14 and the end thereof is folded and fixed, so that the fixing of the cap body 2 is completed.</p> |
