PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform simple and speedy tests for continuity in anti-dim heating wire sealed in the window glass of a vehicle, etc. SOLUTION: A first sensor 1a is brought close to an anti-dim heating wire of the window glass of a vehicle to detect both short-distance heating coil magnetism M1a at the time of the energization of the heating wire A and short-distance complex magnetism M3a formed of peripheral magnetism M2 formed of leakage magnetism which occurs from geomagnetism and peripheral equipment. Long-distance complex magnetism M3b including long-distance heating wire magnetism M1b and peripheral magnetism M2 formed of leakage magnetism which occurs from geomagnetism and spherical equipment is detected by a second sensor 1b at a distance from the heating wire. Then the value of the long-distance complex magnetism M3b is subtracted from the value of the short-distance complex magnetism M3a to obtain the computed value of heating wire magnetism M1. On the basis that the computed value of the heating wire magnetism M1 is equal to a predetermined value or more, it is determined that continuity in the sealed heating wire A is non-defective. |
