PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain appropriate exposure whether luminance in photographing with strobe light is high or low by providing a diaphragm switching means capable of switching the diaphragm diameter and an energizing means energizing the diaphragm in the direction along which the diaphragm formed by the switching means tends to a minimum diaphragm. SOLUTION: A diaphragm plate 11 is provided behind a photo-graphing lens L, and a diaphragm switching operation member is fixed at the right end 11a of the diaphragm plate 11. By operating the diaphragm switching operation member right and left, the plate 11 is moved right and left in a state where its slot 11b slides with respect to a guide pin 12. A torsion spring 13 is hooked to the left end of the plate 11 so as to always energize the plate 11. Therefore, if a hand is not put on the diaphragm switching operation member, the right end of the slot 11b abuts on the pin 12 and a small diaphragm 11c consisting of a small circular through-hole is positioned concentrically with the optical axis of the lens L. By performing photographing in this state, a shutter is opened and object light transmitted through the lens L is converged by the small diaphragm 11c.
