PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce not only the dimension in the width direction of a camera but also that in the height direction thereof to make the camera small in size and light in weight by making the camera have such structure that an engaging shaft formed on an engaging member is made eccentric. SOLUTION: This camera is equipped with the engaging member 8 engaged with the light shielding door opening/closing member 5 of a film cartridge 3 and transmitting driving force for opening/closing a light shielding door to the member 5, and the member 8 has the engaging shaft 8a engaged in the engaging hole of the member 5 and the shaft 8a is formed at a position eccentric from the shaft center 8x of the member 8.
