PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce or eliminate the abnormal display of a liquid crystal display panel even if external force is applied to a circuit board. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device has a liquid crystal panel, a back light unit 2 and the circuit board 4 which is disposed on the rear surface side of this back light unit 2, has a corner part 4a of a projecting shape not directly supported at other members and is packaged a circuit for driving the liquid crystal panel an the back light unit 2. In such a case, the corner part 4a of the projecting shape of the circuit board 4 is provided with bulging parts 7 and 7' bulged to an outer side by curves projecting toward the outer side so that, when the circuit board 4 comes into contact with the back light unit 2 side by receiving external force, the point of the corner part 4a of the projecting shape of the circuit board 4 and the back light unit 2 come into contact with each other not at a point but at a line or at plural points.
