PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the inspection precision of a power source by deciding which of a digital and an analog power source is used for a digital circuit element. SOLUTION: Power source name data on a circuit element Ci are retrieved from a net list L and corresponding power source kind data are extracted by retrieval from a power source name table Ten. When it is decided that the power source used for the circuit element Ci is a digital power source, a warning message is outputted to a display device and '1' is added to the value of a count variable (i); when it is decided that the value of the count variable (i) is larger than the number of circuit elements registered in the net list L, a series of processes is ended. When it is decided that the power source used for the circuit element Ci is an analog power source, node data of the circuit element Ci are extracted and when it is decided that there is a digital circuit element connected directly to the circuit element Ci and the power source used for the digital circuit element is a digital power source, a return to the preceding step is made.
