The undervest is made from two layers of material with elasticated warp and weft threads which enable it to stretch in all directions and allow for the insertion of viscoelastic pads in certain areas to absorb impacts and resist pressure. The pads are located to protect the upper ends of the humeral bones, shoulder bones and joints, the chest, floating ribs, the spine, lower cervical, dorsal and lumbar vertebrae, and especially the dorsal/lumbar zone.
