PULL-IN DEVICE, COUPLER AND PULL-IN METHOD USING THE SAME PULL-IN DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably poll a rod connecting a working member of an existing pipe renewing device to a tip part into an arrival pit under substantially constant tension. SOLUTION: This pull-in device is constituted by being provided with a pair of pull-in cylinders 11 and a pair of reaction receiving cylinders 2 arranged on the upper and lower sides of each pull-in cylinder 11. The pull-in cylinders 11 are connected by frames 16, 17. A rod 11a of each pull-in cylinder 11 is provided with a carriage 13 and this carriage 13 is provided with a holding member 19 holding a transmission member 14. A through hole 17c of the frame 17 is provided with a clamping member 18 for clamping a tip part of an existing pipe 4 and integrating the pipe 4 and the pull-in device and is provided with a renewing device 3 and a locking member 15 locking a coupler 2 connecting rods 1 with which new pipes 5 are connected to each other. In a state that the transmission member 14 is engaged to a groove 2a formed at the coupler 2, the pull-in cylinders 11 are driven, the carriage 13 is moved by a distance corresponding to the length of each rod 1 and each rod 1 is pulled in an arrival part 7.
