<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly reduce power consumption of an information processor with no deterioration of operability of the processor by providing a non-input detecting constitution to detect that the input information is interrupted to an information input part for a fixed period. SOLUTION: A 1st processing block 1 is connected to an information input block 97 including a keyboard 201 and then connected to a 2nd processing block 98 to which a display part having a memory effect is connected. The block 1 starts the stationary block 98 in response to the input of the keyboard 201, etc., and the supply of power to the blocks 1 and 98 or the operations of both blocks are stopped after the display of a display part is changed. At the same time, the display of the display part is held by the memory effect. Under such conditions, a clock is given to the block 1 and no clock is given to the block 98 nor to a display block 99. Then the operating clock frequency of an input part is set lower than the operating clock frequency of a main processing part, a register and an internal RAM part 205 respectively.</p> |
