A jointing strip 1 when used for protecting the edges of and sealing the space between, spaced concrete slabs having coplanar upper surfaces, with the upper edges of the concrete slabs beveled, is elongated and has a curved outer surface 4 which in use protrudes above the coplanar concrete surfaces. Jointing strip 1 includes angled sides that downwardly depend from the curved outer surface, to an elongated base portion having projections 5 which in use are capable of abutting the sides of the adjacent concrete slabs, to help secure the jointing strip in place between the concrete slabs.
