PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of kind of wire assembly capable of being produced at a time. SOLUTION: A terminal T crimped to a wire W is inserted into a connector housing C, which is carried by a housing carrying device 9, by a terminal inserting head 82. The housing carrying device 9 has a plate fitting member 91 provided freely to be turned around a support shaft 91 and a first and a second terminal inserting plates 21, 22 fitted to a pair of side surface of the plate fitting member 91. The connector housing C is held by the first and the second terminal inserting plates 21, 22. Insertion surface code for showing the first or the second terminal insertion plates 21, 22 carrying the connector housing C, to which terminals are to be inserted, is previously set in each wire as an object to be inserted. The first or the second terminal inserting plates 21, 22 are faced to a terminal inserting head 82 while turning the plate fitting member 91 when necessary on the basis of the insertion surface code. |
