PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent color-electrophotographic device whose intermediate transfer part is small and simple in structure and satisfactory in maintenance, and an intermediate-transfer-belt unit used therein. SOLUTION: Image forming units 12 consisting of developing means each of which has a photoreceptor and toner of a different color is used. The whole of the group of image forming units is rotated and moved, and the units can thereby be moved to the same image-forming position 16 in sequence. In the image forming position, a toner image is transferred to an intermediate transfer belt from each photoreceptor. The intermediate transfer belt is combined with a waste-toner storage part into the form of an intermediate-transfer-belt unit 2, and the unit is freely detached from a main body perpendicularly to the rotary shaft of each photoreceptor. |
